The "origional" Beijing was my stomping ground, my Cheers, my one place that I knew I could go and always have a good time. So I asked myself if I should let this effect my decision when writing this review. It's true... All the AWSOME (underlined and in bold ink) bartenders are gone, and....well....the Kereoke has always been pretty awful (funny, yet awful). The buzz inside is gone, and from the perspective of someone who has spent A LOT of time there, I find it to be depressing. And were I to rate The "New" Beijing right now, it would be lucky to get a 2. HOWEVER!!!! The food is really good though. I mean REALLY good. The place is clean and the new bartender Elvin is alright (the other guy is kind of grumpy). If I were walking into this place having never been there, I woulg have given it four stars....so that's what I gave it. New managment, new restaurant, it should be treated as such!
